Ida T. Zeller

Ida T. Zeller, 78, of Louisville, passed away on November 19, 2015. Ida was born in Louisville on October 7, 1937, to the late James Parle and Dorothy Nelson Parle. She retired from Visiting Nurse Association and was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and St. Peter the Apostle Friendship Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, June Casey.

Ida is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gerard "Charlie" Zeller; children, Judy McMillen (Mark), Fred Zeller (Maggie), Chuck Zeller, Marty Zeller, Theresa Fleischer (Chuck), Patty Teague (Curtiss), and Monica Tezak (David); 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Wheeler, Nola Gaus, and Mae Farrow; and brother, Roy Parle.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Essex Nursing and Rehabilitation for their care of Ida.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday, November 23, 2015 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (5431 Johnsontown Road, Louisville, KY 40272). Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy) and continue on Monday from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at the funeral home. A wake service will be held Sunday evening at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
