Hunter Todd Walls, of Finchville, Kentucky, passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 25. He was born on April 9, 2001, in Louisville.
Hunter was a social, charming, and funny young man who was full of energy. He had a way of making friends everywhere he went, and his strong presence and warm personality left an impression on the people around him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, and being outdoors, and he found happiness in the simple pleasures of time spent doing what he loved. He was also very proud of his beard and liked to sing karaoke, bringing laughter and fun to those who shared those moments with him.
Hunter graduated from Martha Layne Collins High School in 2019 and later attended Eastern Kentucky University. He was a longtime member of Southeast Christian Church and enjoyed his small groups there. His faith was an important part of his life. He loved God, and that faith gave him peace and hope. He was looking forward to becoming an uncle, a joy that meant a great deal to him.
He is survived by his parents, Todd and Traci Walls; his sister, Ashley Walls; his grandmother, Martha Walls; his Uncle Scot and Aunt Robin Walls; his Uncle Daryl and Aunt Jill Walls; as well as several cousins and many friends who will remember him with love.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gary and Sue Harrison, and his grandfather, Bobby Walls.
Hunter will be remembered for his love for God, his humor, his patriotism, his energy, his love for the outdoors, and the easy way he connected with others. His life touched many people, and his memory will remain close in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
