Hulon "Myron" Burk, Jr., 65, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Friday afternoon, May 24, 2019.
He was born on April 21, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Hulon Burk, Sr. and Ruth (Golden) Burk Noble. Myron was also preceded in death by his siblings, Carmon and Howard.
Myron is survived by his wife of 44 years, Connie (Dodge) Burk; sons, Joshua Burk (Joni), Jonathan Burk; siblings, Sylvia, Malcolm, Tuwanta, Kenny, Shirley, Cynthia, Thomas; grandchildren, Jane, Jase; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 9:00 a.m. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Myron's wishes.
Contributions in his memory may be made to Charity Baptist Church (11520 Highway 135 NE, New Salisbury, IN 47161), Muscular Dystrophy Association (909 Lily Creek Road, Suite 201, Louisville, KY 40243) or to Vocational Rehabilitation Services (1452 Vaxter Avenue, Clarksville, IN 47129).
