Howard Stephen "Steve" Snyder, 60, of Louisville, passed away on February 10, 2016. Steve was born in Louisville on February 3, 1956 to the late Mary Snyder. He graduated from the University of Louisville and worked for many years as a salesman at The Floor Store before retiring in 2015.

In addition to his mother, Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Dolly Warren. He leaves his wife of 40 years, Deborah (Goff) Snyder; children, Christy Snyder and Benjamin Snyder (Adina); grandsons, Christopher, Carlisle, and Alexander Snyder; brother, Harold "Butch" Orend (Brenda); sisters, Susan Netherton (Barry), Savena Ash (Lynn), Pamela Loveless, and Marsha Harris.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, February 15, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272) with visitation from 3:00 pm until time of service. Private burial in Evergreen Cemetery will follow services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
