Howard C. Miller, Sr.

March 8, 1941 — April 12, 2017

Howard Cralle Miller, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 12, 2017 at University of Louisville Hospital.

He was a PFC in the United States Army and a member of Southeast Christian Church. Howard was the owner and operator of Howard C. Miller Sr. Bus Services for over 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mrs. Howard C. "Mickey" Miller, daughter Stephanie Miller Back, grandson Stephen Baugh and brother George Miller.

He is survived by his son H.C. Miller, Jr., and his daughter Rachel M. Reccius, four grandchildren, Savanah Reccius, Ryan Miller, Rebecca Reccius and Maggie Miller. He is also survived by his former loving daughter in law, Kate Miller, son in law Roy L. Reccius, Jr. and special friend and companion Brenda Lee.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, Kentucky 40243).

Visitation will also be held in the Fireside Room at Southeast Christian Church (Blankenbaker Campus) from 8:30 until 10:00am on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 with a celebration of Howard's life immediately to follow at 10:00am in the Chapel with internment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bob Russell Ministries and/or Mercy Academy.
