Howard Martin Klein

Howard Martin Klein, 62, of Clarksville, Indiana, formerly of New York, New York, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was a wonderful husband and father figure. Howie retired from Home Depot, while never allowing Multiple Sclerosis to slow him down. Howie was an animal lover and fond of his pets, Ivy, Abbey, Ruby, and Mystic.

He was born on July 11, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Stanley and Frances (Ross) Klein. Howie is survived by his loving wife, Joy (Carroll) Klein; daughter, Samantha Gullett; son, Jamie Popham (Olivia); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his funeral service taking place at 3:00 p.m. Cremation will follow according to Howie's wishes.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Howie's memory may be made to the family in care of the funeral home to help assist with funeral expenses.
