Howard "Juan" Jennings, Jr. was called home July 21, 2015. He received Christ into his heart at an early age. Juan is the heart and strength of the family and could always bring comfort and security to those around him and he is adored by all he met. He is known for his "soul" cooking, dancing and is a die hard UofL and Celetics fan. Juan will be forever missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Jennings, Sr. and Clara Weaver.
He is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla Jennings; sons, Johnathon Jennings, Howard La'Juan Jennings, Andre Jennings, Antae Dickerson, Doral Moore; daughters, Tabitha Jennings, Whitney Jennings, Ursula Jennings-Tarrence and Renee Appling; numerous grandchildren; brothers, Larry Jennings, Jody Jennings, Curtis Jennings, Frank Cosby and Ronnie Freeman; sisters, Lisa Miller and Darlene Burnside and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, July 24, 2015, from 2pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) and Saturday, July 25, 2015, from 9am-11am with a celebration of Juan's life beginning at 11am.
Internment will be at Green Meadows Cemetery, 3800 Shanks Lane.
