Howard Ray Goldman

February 25, 1933 — November 28, 2017

Howard Ray Goldman, 84, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on November 28, 2017. He was a veteran of The United States Army and worked as a foreman at the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant until his retirement. Howard attended Eastern Heights Baptist Church, was a member of VFW Post 3281 in New Albany, and had the honor of being a Kentucky Colonel.

Howard was born on February 25, 1933, in Crawford County, Indiana, to the late Shelby and Lola (Merry) Goldman. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bob Goldman; and sister, Carol Woolems.

Howard is survived by his wife of 64 years, Myrna (Denbo) Goldman; son, DeLynn Goldman (Beth); daughter, Roxanne Elliott (Roger); grandchildren, Ben Elliott, Roger T. Elliott (Ashley), Emma Goldman, Sam Goldman, and Seth Goldman; and great-grandchildren, Landon Elliott and Waylon Elliott.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. His Funeral Ceremony will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Taswell Cemetery.
