Horace Eugene Thornton, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017.
He was born in Clanton, Alabama on November 15, 1946 to the late Horace Owens Thornton and Mary Nell Murphy.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother William Franklin Thornton.
Horace is survived by his wife Patricia Lee Wasson-Thornton; one daughter, Patricia Lee Smith; one son Bobby Wayne Thornton, Sr.; five grandchildren, John Corbit Ritchie Thornton, Bobby Wayne Thornton, Jr., Terry James Thornton, Jaimie Lee Hutchins and Jeremy Douglas Pence; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Christine Stormes as well as a host of other family members and friends.
