Hobert "Toby" Mason

Hobert "Toby" Mason, 51, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015. He was an employee at General Electric in Louisville and a huge UK and Dallas Cowboys fan. Toby could easily be described as a loving family man that was a hard worker, always caring and friendly with everyone he came in contact with.

He was born on March 26, 1963 in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Ned, Sr. and Alta (Collins) Mason. He was also preceded in death by his brother, R.V. Mason.

Toby is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tina (Johnston) Mason; children, Jessica Moore (Matthew Moss), Toby "TJ" Mason (Jena Mason); sisters, Martha Hyre (Steve), Ellen "Bernice" McCoy (Dale), Sharon Schrader (Lenny), Betty Coffer; brothers, Ed Mason, Llowell Mason (Nancy), Ned Mason, Jr. (Debbie), Gene Mason; grandchildren, Cordell, Brooklin, Hunter; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be from 12 PM to 6 PM on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his Funeral Service taking place at 6 PM. Cremation will follow according to Toby's wishes and burial will be held at a later date in Pineville, Kentucky.
