Hilma "Robbie" Bell of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on June 3, 2017 at Norton's Brownsboro Hospital due to complications following surgery. Born in Bethlehem, Kentucky to the late Hilton W. Robertson and Zelma Hunt Robertson, Robbie attended both Bethlehem Grade School and Pleasureville High School. She was a long time member of Southeast Christian Church. She had an extensive career as a medical professional with: Central State Hospital, Pleasant Grove Hospital, Dr. Tom Jerry Smith and Dr. Marshall Mahan. Athletic in her youth, she would hike, bowl, roller skate and bicycle until limited by age. She continued to play croquet, regularly besting family members a fraction of her age. She was a supporter of and past fundraiser for the YMCA, and previously served on the Board of Directors for YMCA Camp Piomingo. Her interests ran from gardening to antiquing. She was a nationally recognized collector of antique souvenir spoons and vintage scent bottles. She was a co-founder and fifty year member of the Bottle Collectors of Louisville and its successor club. She was an avid traveler: whether cruising with family, taking a sojourn to a favorite beach, catching a flight crossed the country for a concert or auction, or journeying halfway round the world to check in on her grandson. An exceptionally empathetic and caring person; people often sought her company and council. She was a lifelong protector never hesitating to aid others in peril or need.

Thomas Bell; her daughter Melissa Bell, her sons Damon Kennedy and Scott Bell; her sister Patricia Leenerts (Bill); her brother William Robertson (Donna); her grandchildren Charlie Kennedy, Hailey Fults, Josie Bell, Jasmine Bell, Ashlie Bell and Amanda Schueler; and great grandchildren Vada Fults, Ezekiel Schueler, Ben Sena and Abbey Sena; and extended family Kathy Robertson, Niece Sara Robertson and Nephews Tim and Scott Robertson; her loving cat, Lil' Girl.
