Herman Eugene Boling, 92, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at home.

He was born on November 10, 1925 in Senatobia, MS to the late James and Lida (Shepherd) Boling. He is also preceded in death by his brothers Robert, Russell and Howard Boling.

Herman was retired and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Mary Evelyn (Haven) Boling, daughter, Barbara Miller (Brian), grandchildren; Kim (Melvin), Shannon (Derek) and Brian Jr. (Debbie), seven great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, two sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).

His funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
