Herbert Hoover Miller, Jr.

Herbert Hoover "Herbie" Miller, Jr., 64, passed away on April 6, 2024. He was an Army veteran and a member of Westend Baptist Church. Herbie enjoyed being outdoors, watching basketball and football with a good cup of coffee. He was an avid UofL Cardinal and Pittsburg Steelers fan. Herbie had a heart of gold and would always help others in need.

He was preceded in death by his life companion, Trina Taylor and father, Herbert Hoover Miller, Sr.

Herbie leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Betty Jean Miller; sisters, Mary (Jerry) Meredith, Deborah Miller and Janet Thompson; son, Bruce (Tammy) Taylor; 6 step-children; numerous, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and fur babies, Taco, Bear Bear, Man Man and Lai Lai.

Visitation will be Monday, April 15, 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 1pm-8pm. A celebration of Herbie's life will be Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the funeral home beginning at 12pm.

Herbie will be laid to rest at Louisville Memorial Gardens - West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
