Henry Norman "Hank" Nolet, 83, of Memphis, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016. He was a United State Army veteran and retired from Owl Rock Products. Hank was a member of the American Legion Post 204 in Sellersburg and Memphis Community Church.
He was born on March 6, 1933 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Alfred and Roseanna (Blanchette) Nolet. Hank was also preceded in death by his siblings, Roland, Harvey, Helen and Theresa.
Hank is survived by his wife of almost 52 years, Mary (Skaggs) Nolet; sons, Edward "Ed" Nolet, Fred Nolet (Dana), Willie Nolet; siblings, Joe Nolet, Alice Tessier (Harold); 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and loving niece, Theresa James.
Visitation will be 3 PM to 8 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Thursday in the chapel at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Hank's wishes. Hank will be laid to rest privately with military honors at Ebenezer Cemetery in Memphis.
