Henry Collons Lanham, 84, of Borden, Indiana, passed away at home with his loving family by his side on Sunday, December 15, 2019. Henry was a member of the Clarksville Shriner's Lodge, the American Legion 204 in Sellersburg, and the Sellersburg Moose Lodge. He liked to fish, being in the yard working in his flower beds, and helping his children and grandchildren. In his younger years, Henry enjoyed boating and camping with his family.
He was born on November 10, 1935, in Lebanon, Kentucky, to the late Virgil and Ellen Frances (Wilkerson) Lanham. Along with his parents, Henry is preceded in death by his son, Phillip Lanham; and 6 of his siblings.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Aline (O'Daniel) Lanham; children, Vickie (Rick Hall) Lanham, Steve (Tina Hoffmeister) Lanham, and Wayne (Becky) Lanham; grandchildren, Treves Lanham, Steven Lanham, Crysty (Carl) Nurse, Kevin (Justina) Basham, Michael Lanham, Josh Lanham, Amanda Lanham, and Mallory Lanham; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ida Smith, Betty Oller, Roy Lanham, and David Lanham; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Miller Cemetery in Borden, Indiana.
