Henry Lee Huskey Sr.

Henry Lee Huskey Sr,72, passed away on June 12, 2024. He was a beloved father, husband, grandfather, and, friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Henry was born on February 27, 1952, in Louisville KY. Where he spent his formative years growing up on Grey Street. He went on to attend Louisville Male High School, where he and his teammates won two back-to-back state championships in 1970 and 71.

Proceeded in death by his father Thomas J, Huskey, and Mother Minnie; his siblings: Mary, Thomas, Darlene, and Regina.
Henry is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, his children, Donnie (w) Netta, Henry Lee Jr., and his grandchildren, Dontae, Anthony, Niyah(h) Jared, and Donavon(w) Jacquline, and great-grandson Donimus. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

But more than anything, Henry was a devoted family man. He loved spending time with his wife Pat and the family they built together over their 51 years of marriage. There were many family get-togethers over the decades, be it Christmas trips to Atlanta, vacations in Gatlinburg, getaways to Bilioxi, or just having the family gather at the house. No matter the location he could always be seen smiling and enjoying just having his family around.
In his free time, besides spending time with his wife Pat, Henry enjoyed riding his bike throughout the city of Louisville. People would often see him and holler, “Big Husk,” as he was so affectionately called. Henry will be sorely missed by his family and friends, yet he leaves a legacy of love. Because of him, we are all Huskeystrong!
