Henry Eskridge, Jr.
November 19, 1936 — August 14, 2019
Henry "Pop" Eskridge, Jr., 82, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. After 42 years of service, he retired from General Mills. Pop loved his Savior, Jesus, his family and friends, his puppy Candy, and riding his motorcycle.
He was born on November 19, 1936, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Henry and Lue (Lovett) Eskridge. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Nelda Mae Eskridge; 2 children, Melissa Wann Eskridge and Ferrell Vance Eskridge; 6 brothers, Ronnie, Wendell, Bobby, Buddy, Raymond, and Herbert Eskridge; and his 2 sisters, Lola Hudson and Louise Morris.
Henry is survived by his son, Darrell Eskridge; daughter, Felicia (Steven) Stiles; grandsons, Bradley (Whitney) Stiles and Wesley Stiles; great-granddaughters, Kelsie Stiles, Brianna Stiles, Reese Stiles, and Olivia Stiles; many nieces and nephews; and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his 5 great-grandchild.
No services will be held at this time and cremation will take place following Henry's wishes. He will be buried at Graham Cemetery beside his wife in Courtland, Alabama.
