Henry D. "Hank" McKim, Jr., 72, of Louisville passed away September 18, 2015.

Hank was born in Louisville on September 2, 1943, the son of Lt. Colonel Henry Dello McKim, Sr. and Velma (Cavins) McKim from Laconia, IN. A graduate of Flaget High School and University of Louisville, he worked in information technology.

Big man, big heart, big ideas, big stories, a loving family man, survivors include his children, Mike McKim (Jackie), Shelley Schippert (Norman), Kevin McKim (Carrie), and Jenni McKim (Chris Gillespie); sister, Susan Griffin (Hubert); 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. While he retired over 18 years ago, he was never far from his computer. He split his time between Daytona Beach and Louisville. His last big adventure was traveling to China, where he met his current love, Zhengping Fu (Emily).

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) with visitation from 1:00pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Schuhmann Center (730 East Gray Street, Louisville, KY 40202).
