Helga L. Bennison

Helga L. (Albrecht) Bennison, 92, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on April 14, 2017. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Helga was gifted at crocheting and enjoyed making baby blankets.

Helga was born on October 3, 1924 in Nuremberg, Germany to the late Wilhelm & Katherin Albrecht. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John E. Bennison; and daughter, Jackline Vitato.

Helga is survived by her daughters; Karin Winburn (Perry) and Teresa Rommel (Mark); grandchildren, Michael Rommel (Anna), Nichole Morris (Antoine), Jason Williams (Kathy), Jarrod Williams; and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 to 1 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) with a service to follow at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
