Helen Mcgaughey Schwartz

Helen McGaughey Schwartz, age 88 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019. Helen graduated from Atherton High School and was a member of Middletown Christian Church. She retired from AT&T as a service representative with over 35 years of service and was a member of their volunteer organization "The Telephone Pioneers". She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Nellie Driskell McGaughey; and her siblings, Eugene McGaughey, Francis Ockerman and Blanche Gregory.

Helen is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Palmer Schwartz; nieces and nephews, Darrell Gregory (Raydena), Donald Ockerman, Allen Burkes (Pat) and Joann McDavitt; and a host of friends.

Visitation will be 12 to 2 pm on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of Helen's life at 2 pm.

Memorials may be made to the Middletown Christian Church.
