Helen Louise Howey Schooley, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on July 28, 2017. She retired from Arvin Industries as a switch board operator for over 25 years, and was a member of Southeast Christian Church.

Helen was born on June 21, 1929 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Paul and Lucy Howey. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Schooley; sisters; Marian Gore, Pat Corum and Juanita Braun.

Helen is survived by her sons, Kirk Schooley, William R. Schooley, Terry Lee Schooley (Debbie); grandchildren, Zachary Schooley (Catherine) and Sarah Dwyer (Chris); great-grandchildren, Therese Schooley, Jordan Schooley and Natalie Dwyer.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Southeast Christian Church (920 Blankenbaker Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40243), with her funeral service to follow at 12 noon Tuesday at church. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, KY.

In loving memory of Helen, memorial contributions may be made to donor's favorite church charity.
