Helen Pedigo, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on July 18, 2016. She was owner and operator of Ms. Helen's Daycare for 30 plus years. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Helen was born on February 22, 1944 in Winchester, Kentucky to the late Millard and Viola (Woosley) Howard. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Tracy, brothers; George Howard, Millard Howard, Jr., and sister, Edith McCoulough.
Helen is survived by her husband of 8 years, Thomas A. Pedigo, son, David Hatton, four grandchildren; Richard Kershner, Thomas Saggaser, Devin Hatton, and Halie Hatton, sisters; Delores Flannery, Phyllis True, Linda McKinney, brothers; Eddie Howard, Doug Howard, and Charles "Shorty" Howard.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243).
Her funeral ceremony will be held on Friday at 11:00 am on July 22, 2016 at the funeral home with burial to follow Louisville Memorial Garden East.
