Helen Louise (Willian) Freels-Keen, 86, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Providence Nursing Home. She retired as an executive secretary for Campbell Tobacco Company after 26 years of service.
She was born on March 14, 1929 in Larue County, Kentucky to the late Virgil and Clara Mae (Constant) Willian. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, James Freels, Melvin "Red" Keen; brothers, Edward, Ervin, James, Kenneth Willian; sister, Joyce Willian; and son-in-law, Robert Jackson.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Linda Kayrouz (Terry), Kathy Jackson, Patricia Freels; sister, JoAnn Dallas; 6 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Friday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Helen's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society (701 W. Muhammad Ali Boulevard, Louisville, KY 40203).
