Helen Hollar, 67, of Louisville passed away peacefully at home on March 13, 2015.
Helen was born in Louisville on January 26, 1948 to the late James and Idell Hendricks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and true love, Gareth Ray Hollar; son, David Kauffman; brother, Lee Hendricks; and two sisters, Judy Rohmann and Denea Childress.
Survivors include two sons, Anthony Hollar (Bobbie Jo) and Ray Hollar (Tina); daughter, Tamara Hollar (Jessica); sister, Bertha Shoemaker (Wayne); 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Funeral service 11:00am Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Ray Hollar or online via http://de.gofund.me/onc61w to assist with funeral expenses.
