Helen Gibson, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020. She was born on October 25, 1943 in Grayson County, Kentucky to the late Henry Milliner and Lura Boone.
In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by a brother, Homer Milliner.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 61 years, Stanley Gibson; children, Lura Marquess, Lavon Goodlett and Glenn Gibson; grandchildren, Angela (Brian) Assemany and D.J. Graf; and 4 great grandchildren, Bridget, Brian, Brandon, and Bruce Assemany.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am CST on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at St. Paul Catholic Church (1821 Saint Paul Road, Leitchfield, KY) with mass to follow at the church at 11:00 am and burial at St. Paul Cemetery in Leitchfield, KY.
Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's honor to the James Graham Brown Cancer Center or the Building Fund at St. Paul Catholic Church in Leitchfield.
