Hazel Louise Potter, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019.

She was born on July 6,1942 in Louisville, Kentucky to Mack and Annetta Thompson. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her Daughter, Lavon Davidson.

Hazel is survived by her Daughter, Holly Looney (JoeDon), Brother, Mack Thompson, Jr. (Judy), former husband, Gerald Potter, Grandchildren: Amanda Davidson, Aaron Davidson, Brittney Looney, and Morgan Looney, and 3 Great-Grandchildren.

A gathering for Hazel's family and friends will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, Kentucky.
