Hazel Williams Huddleston

Hazel Williams Huddleston, 84, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. She was loved by everyone who ever knew her.

Hazel was born on March 20, 1937 in Burkesville, Kentucky to the late Sallie & Luther Williams.

She was the owner and operator of Valley Beauty Shop in Valley Station, Kentucky for many years. She was also a wonderful caregiver for many close family members and friends throughout the years. Hazel was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. She was an amazing cook, gardener, and loved the beauty of nature.

Hazel is survived by her husband of nearly 68 years, Ralph E. Huddleston, Sr, children, Ralph Huddleston, Jr., Lisa (Matthew) Oakes, Todd (Martha) Huddleston, grandchildren, Andrea (Josh) Karrick, Jacob (Katie) Huddleston, Drew Huddleston, Joshua (Ashley) Oakes, Lindsey (Michael) Mingus, Emily Huddleston, and Alex Huddleston, great grandchildren, Ella, Izzy, Madilyn, Jackson, Olivia, Jordan, Cole, August, Eilee, and Hazel, nephews, Tom Davis, Gary Davis, Michael Williams, and David Williams, brother-in-law Gary (Dot) Huddleston.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Carl, Lewis, Lester, and Luther Jr Williams, sister Nora Davis, and daughter-in-law, Mary Alice Huddleston.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Bethany United Methodist Church (6100 Moorman Road). Her Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, January, 29, 2022 at the Bethany United Methodist Church (6100 Moorman Road, Louisville) with the Reverend Matthew Oakes officiating. Services have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be made in Hazel's honor to the Bethany United Methodist Church.
