Hazel Hoffmann (Noe), of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on September 27, 2026, in Louisville. She was born on April 3, 1958, in Gravel Switch, Kentucky.

Hazel will be remembered for her spunky and outgoing spirit, as well as for being straight to the point in a way that reflected her honest heart. She was also deeply loving and very kind, and those who knew her experienced both her warmth and her strength in everyday life.

She attended Thomas Jefferson High School and went on to work at Papa John’s and as a babysitter. Above all, the work that meant the most to Hazel was caring for her family as a stay-at-home mother to her two children. She took pride in the daily acts of love that made a house a home, and she especially loved doing laundry and cooking for her family. These simple, steady expressions of care were among the many ways she showed her devotion to the people she loved most.

Hazel is survived by her daughter, Amanda Dennison (David Howser), and her son, Allen Dennison (Mignon). She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Sabrina, Michael, Shannon, Selena, and Jayden, and her great-grandson, Caleb. She is also survived by her brother, William Harold Noe, and by her niece, Ayla Noe. Her family was at the center of her life, and her love for them will remain a lasting part of their lives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Foster Noe; her mother, Frances Louise Noe; her sister, Shirley Ann Noe; and her brothers, James Noe and Tommy Noe.

Hazel’s life was defined by love for her family, dedication in the home, and a personality that brought energy and honesty wherever she went. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
