Hazel Marie (Roberts) Clark

Hazel Marie (Roberts) Clark, 67, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. She was a member of Acts Full Gospel Church and the First Christian Church of Salem and loved taking vacations to the beach. Hazel's pride and joy was her family, especially her children and grandchildren, and loved spending time with them.

She was born on January 1, 1951, in Casey Creek, Kentucky, to the late Voyd and Bessie Mae (Proffitt) Roberts. Along with her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her siblings, Marcalee Johnson, Lucille Benningfield, Edward Roberts, and Betty Decker.

Hazel is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Robert T. Clark, Jr.; children, Terri Fox, Jeanine Clark, Sherri Kerr, Billie Voyles, Robert T. Clark III (April), and Tina Scott (Phillip); 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and brother, Chester Roberts (Goldia).


Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in the chapel at the funeral home with cremation to follow.

The family requests that contributions in Hazel's memory be made to the family in care of Robert Clark, Jr.
