Harry Wampler, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.
He was born on July 8, 1944 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Harry and Velma (Covington) Wampler.
Harry retired from LG&E after 30 plus years of service. He was an usher and active member at Southeast Christian Church and an avid golfer, playing at least 3 times a week.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Barbara Lynn Wampler, son, Mark Wampler (Margie), daughter, Christine Wampler Heeren (Hunter), grandson, Bradley Wampler and sister, Janice Surratt.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
His funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, July 6, 2020 at Chapel In The Woods (1401 Moser Rd, Louisville, KY 40299) with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Harry's memory be made to Bob Russell Ministries (Po Box 43933 Louisville, KY 40253).
