Harry Meade Smith Jr., 87, of Louisville, passed away on June 14, 2015. Harry was a proud Navy veteran and a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church. He was born on March 22, 1928, in Macon, GA to the late Harry and Nora Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Joseph Hampel.
Survivors include his daughter, Pam Hampel; granddaughter, Sarah Crum (Austin); two great-grandchildren, Bethany and Carter Crum, all of Bonaire, GA; and brother, Lee Smith (Barbara) of Macon, GA.
Harry will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central in Radcliff, KY following a private service at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY). To leave a special message for the family, please click the "Share Memories" button above.
