Harry Bernard Frye, Jr.

Harry Bernard Frye, Jr. - age 91 of Louisville, KY passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020.

He was born on May 19, 1929 in St. Louis, MO to Harry and Marie (Schumack) Frye. Harry obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Engineering (A.S.E.). He retired from Bethlehem Steel after 30 plus years service as a Sr. Sales Manager working in St. Louis, MO., Kansas City, MO. and Louisville, KY. After retirement he worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of KY, and Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Harry was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church serving as a deacon and was active in the kid's club, WOW and VBS. Was a Scout Leader in Overland Park, KS and Louisville, KY. Harry was a Master Mason at the Masonic Lodge, St. Louis, MO. He belonged to numerous clubs and volunteer organizations (Supplies Over Seas and Pinochle Club to name a few) He had a heart for serving others whenever he could.


Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his devoted wife of 62 years, Diane (Peterson) Frye.
Harry is survived by his children: Richard Frye, Louisville, KY, Thomas Frye(Paula), Louisville, KY, Karen Frye Turner, Tompkinsville,KY, Denise Frye, Louisville, KY ; Granddaughters, Ashlee Strong(Josh), Allison Turner(Tyler), Avery Turner(Matt); Great Grandsons, Abram &Titus Strong, Owyn & Syrus Tooley all of Tompkinsville, KY

He will be placed with his wife at Bellefontaine Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
