Harry Albert Croninger, 80, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Harry was a member of Clarksville Church of Christ and loved shooting guns and going fishing. His favorite pastime was loving his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was born on May 31, 1938, in Elizabeth, Indiana, to the late Benjamin T. and Ida P. (Thompson) Croninger. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his 4 siblings.
Harry is survived by his loving wife, Martha E. (Coffman) Croninger; children, Kevin (Lisa) Croninger, Stephen (Deirdre) Croninger, and Tina (Barry) Herring; grandchildren, Amber Chambers, Alyssa Clark, Savannah Herring, Cameron Croninger, Timothy Edwards, Benjamin Edwards, and Brianna Davis; great-grandchildren, Reagan Chambers, Joseph Clark, Jackson Edwards, Lila Beth Chambers, Cecilia Clark, and Eli Chambers; and siblings, Thomas Croninger, Hester Juliot, Maxie Croninger, and Mildred Barkmeyer.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Visitation will continue on Saturday morning after 8:30 a.m. until the time of service. His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
