Harold W. Vincent

February 20, 1936 — October 17, 2018

Harold William Vincent, 82, of Louisville KY, passed away in his home, surrounded by his family, on October 17, 2018. He was a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church. Harold was passionate about his family, sports (especially softball) and was a die hard UK Wildcat basketball fan. He was an extraordinary athlete who played with the Louisville Seniors Softball League for 20 years, winning six World Championships with the team. He and Loretta particularly enjoyed traveling the country with the team.

He was preceded in death by his son, Derrick Scott Vincent.

Harold is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Vincent; daughter, Denise (Wayne) Williams; grandchildren, Miranda (Kent) McKinney, Brandi (Mike) Thompson and Ryan Williams and great-grandsons, Phoenix McKinney, Asher McKinney, Landen Williams and Liam Thompson.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 12pm-8pm. A celebration of Harold's life will be Monday, October 22, 2018, beginning at 11am.

A graveside service will be at 2:00pm (Central Standard Time) at Lambert Cemetery, Brownsville, KY

The family would like to express their appreciation for the loving care that Teresa Young and Christy Prather provided to Harold.
