Harold Ventz "Billy" aka "Trip" Triplett, 80, of Louisville, KY, passed away at Cherokee Park Rehabilitation home on April 16, 2022. He was a native of Taylorsville, KY and the son of the late Claude and Julia Triplett. Harold was a graduate of Lincoln Institute and attended Kentucky State University and Michigan State University. He was an Army veteran and practiced the Catholic faith. Harold retired as a truck driver, but worked in other industries and also had his own lawn care service. He enjoyed attending baseball games and was a member of the Louisville Bats Club and never missed one of their games. He was an avid cyclist and participated in many marathons. One of Harold's passions was helping neighbors and guiding children in a positive direction. If you ever needed anything you could always depend on Harold being there for you.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Julia Triplett, Claude Triplett, Virginia Triplett, Joseph Triplett, Mary Singleton, Maude Baynard, Julia Boykins, Hartzell "Bosie" Triplett, Howard Triplett and Logan Triplett.
Harold is survived by his daughter, Mariha Fisher; siblings, Yvonne Triplett, George Triplett, Evelyn Mack, Suzannah Triplett and Melvin Triplett; nephew, Albert Boykins and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 1pm-3pm with a celebration of Harold's life beginning at 3pm.
