Harold A. Sullivan

July 14, 1932 — February 6, 2016

Harold Allan "Sully" Sullivan, Sr., 83, of Henryville, Indiana, passed away on February 6, 2016. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran who proudly served his country during both the Korean and Vietnam wars. Sully also retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of the American Legion Post #204 in Sellersburg and a life member of the NRA.

He was born on July 14, 1932 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Joyce (Gray) Sullivan. Sully is survived by his children, Mark Lengle (Renee) and Bonnie Smallwood (Terry); siblings, Elenore Jones, Hilda Grimm, and Larry Sullivan; and grandchildren, Lucus Lengle, Chellsea Biedinger (Corey), Shelby Hallman, and Kelsie Kuntz.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 2 PM on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his Funeral Service taking place at 2 PM. Burial with military honors will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery in Henryville, Indiana.

Contributions in Sully's memory may be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children (520 West Chestnut Street, Louisville, KY 40202).
