Harland "Barry" Stewart, 73, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Barry was a member of the Cherry Street Church of Christ and a retired police officer with LMPD. He loved gardening, walking, exercising, spending time with his grandchildren, and reading, especially the Bible.
He was born on October 13, 1946 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Harland and Veronica (Cavanaugh) Stewart. Along with his parents, Barry is preceded in death by his brothers, Kevin and Mark Stewart; and one infant sister.
Barry is survived by his loving wife, Kennita (Leach) Stewart; children, Roxanne (Michael) Knight and Clarissa (Bill) Weber; siblings, Donna Cain and Victor Stewart; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
No services have been scheduled at this time.
