Hal Gumbiner, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on July 7, 2019.

He practiced veterinary medicine for over 30 years in New Port Richey, Florida, where he was a member of Generations Christian Church. He will be remembered for his love for his family, his enjoyment of Auburn football, and his passion for seeing the Kingdom of God advance in this world.

He was born on June 9, 1948 in Gary, Indiana, to the late Robert and Cornelia (Hitt) Gumbiner.

Hal is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jane (Henson) Gumbiner as well as their daughters and sons-in-law (Andrew and Leigh D'Amico of Madison, Alabama, Rene and Julie Gomez of Louisville, Kentucky) and grandchildren (Curtis, Andrea, and Erin D'Amico, Josiah, Lily, and Charlotte Gomez).

Surviving siblings include Kim and Tammy Gumbiner of Summerville, South Carolina, Robin and Dean Little of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Marcia and Steve Ward of Trussville, Alabama.

A memorial service will be held in his honor at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Generations Christian Church (1540 Little Road Trinity, FL 34655). The family will receive guests before the service beginning at 9:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are requested to be directed towards the debt retirement efforts of Generations Christian Church.
