Guy Howard Dorsey, Jr., 97, of Louisville, Kentucky, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 9, 2020.
He was born on February 21, 1923 in Brownsboro, KY to the late Guy and Virgie (Thompson) Dorsey. He is also preceded in death by his nine siblings, his wife Alene Dorsey, two children Guy Howard Dorsey, III and Janet D. Howard and one grandson Jarrett Anderson.
He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life his son Jathaniel Mark Dorsey (Maria), daughter in law Wandella Dorsey, grandchildren; Deondra Dorsey (Barbara), Jason Howard, Guy Howard Dorsey, IV, Jathaniel Mark Dorsey, Jr. (Candyce), Danielle Dorsey and Diana Dorsey and a special granddaughter Jamika Drake. He also is survived by 14 great-grandchildren, three adopted grandsons, one great great granddaughter, two special nephews, Milton Smith Sr. and Ronald Dow as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Memorial Celebration will be held on Labor Day weekend.
