Guthrie Dow Harris, 85, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on January 8, 2017. He was a hard worker and retired from plaster work after many years of service and was a United States Army veteran.
Guthrie was born on January 8, 1932, in Central City, Kentucky, to Perry and Viola (Birch) Harris. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Harris; a daughter, Scherri Harris, and a grandson, Corey Harris.
He is survived by his sons, Steve and Mark Harris; brother-in-law, Joe (Paula) Hagan; grandchildren, Kristin, Nicole, and Jeff (Brandy); great-grandchildren, Anthony, Jayden, and Tucker; along with many extended family and friends.
There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1415 North Gate Road, Madison, Indiana 47250).
