Greta Underhill

Margaret “Greta” Farmer Underhill, age 59, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on October 29, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 17, 1967, and was a devoted mother and wife and an avid reader. Although she found comfort in the pages of a book there is no doubt that she was someone who created just as many stories as she read.

She graduated from Ole Miss in 1989 with a Business Degree with Concentration in Marketing and continues to be a Rebel fan.

After retiring she and her husband traveled the world going on many adventures together, and never failing to find a Diet Coke while there.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years Ralph Underhill, her sons Duncan (Megan) and Chase Underhill, her mother Elise Ritchey Farmer, her sister Jennifer Farmer (Roger Sendelweck) and preceded in death by her father Barry Farmer.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive. Her funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road, with burial to follow at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, Kentucky.
