Gregory Bowman

Greg Bowman was born on September 29, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky and passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

Greg grew up in Louisville and graduated from Waggener High School. 

He came to faith in Jesus in 1974 and his life reflected the joy and love of God. Greg genuinely enjoyed talking with friends and strangers alike. Those conversations usually involved Jesus, and he even had the honor of leading his mother, Dorothy Flora, to the Lord. He has been a faithful member of Fellowship Church Louisville since 2018 where he will be dearly missed by his church family.

Greg enjoyed music, cheeseburgers, the Louisville Cardinals, and Hershey’s chocolate.

Greg’s friends want to give a special thank you to his caregivers at Eastway Health and Rehab, who assisted Greg as his health declined. Greg often mentioned the protection and care he felt at his nursing home.

Greg’s memorial service will be Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 4:30 pm, at Portland Christian School Auditorium, 8509 Westport Road, Louisville, KY 40242.
