Greg "Hoagie" Hulman, son, devoted father, doting grandfather, and cherished friend, passed away unexpectantly on October 19, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on December 24, 1960, in Louisville, KY, Greg's life was a testament to the values of hard work and kindness, leaving a mark on everyone he met.

Greg was known fondly by all as "Hoagie," a nickname that perfectly encapsulated his warm and inviting personality. He had an unparalleled ability to connect with others, whether through the conversations he carried while driving Uber or the laughter he shared with friends and family. A true friend to all, he enjoyed meeting new people and cherished every interaction, making him a beloved figure in his community.

Greg approached every opportunity with determination and enthusiasm. He also found joy and solace in the great outdoors, particularly through his passion for hunting. His adventurous spirit was not only defined by his hobbies, but also by his genuine interest in making others feel welcome and valued.

Greg leaves behind a loving family who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. His mother, Birtha Hulman, his son, Shawn (Linley) Hulman, and his cherished grandson, Wyatt Hulman. Greg's trusted loyal companion, Ruger, will surely miss his presence, as their bond was one built on love and devotion. Though he is preceded in death by his father, Joe Billy Hulman, and his sister, Mitzi Smith, Greg's legacy will continue through the countless lives he touched.

The family invites all those who knew and loved Greg to join them in a celebration of his life. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville. A Celebration of Life will follow on Thursday, October 30th, at 11:00 AM, also at Newcomer Funeral Home. Greg will then be laid to rest at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Hwy.

Greg "Hoagie" Hulman was more than just a name; he was a beacon of friendship and warmth in our lives. As we gather to honor his memory, we celebrate a remarkable man whose spirit will forever remain with us.
