Gloria Cecilia Newton, 82, of Louisville, passed away on February 26, 2017. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and going to Florida to visit her son.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Skaggs.

Gloria is survived by her children, Stephen (Lisa) Skaggs, Kevin (Mary Jane) Skaggs, Angela Weber, Lisa Mulligan and Cheri Turner; grandchildren, Stephanie, Allison, Brittney, B.J., Kevin, Jr., Corey, Whitney, Brooke, Trenton and Landon; several great-grandchildren and brother, Martin (Brenda) Bruck.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) from 2pm-8pm. A celebration of Gloria's life will be March 2, 2017, at 12pm at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.
