Gloria Gover

Gloria Gover, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on August 14, 2026, after suffering a stroke. She was born September 3, 1934, in Horse Branch, Kentucky, to parents Gabe and Mabel Arnold.

Gloria touched the lives of many with her kindness and loving nature. Her family was the center of her world, and she dedicated her life to nurturing and uplifting them.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Gover. She is survived by three children: Sandy Donnelly (Mike), John A. Gover (Julie), and Suzanne Wright (Rick). Her legacy continues through her (7) grandchildren and (8) great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home-Middletown, located at 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Norton Brownsboro Hospital for the compassionate care they provided during Gloria's final days.
