Glenn Edward Riggs, Sr.

January 24, 1944 — February 26, 2018

Glenn Edward Riggs, Sr., age 74 of Louisville, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was formerly employed at DeHart Paint Company and Brown and Williamson. He enjoyed art, decorating, glassware and booth setup and participating in Flea Markets. He was a member of Hiawatha Missionary Baptist Church. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Katherine and Clayton Riggs.

Glenn leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Glenn Sanders and Edward Glenn Riggs; grandchildren, Melanie, Shaun and Mackenzie Sanders; great-grandson, who is on the way, Nathan; sisters, Anita June Dunn and Carolyn Beanblossom; brother, Arnold Clayton Riggs, Jr.; 4 nieces and 2 nephews; great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 2-8pm on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, and also on Wednesday, March 7th starting at 9:30am. A celebration of Glenn's life will be 11am Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
