Glenda Rhea Gayhart, 88, of La Grange, Kentucky passed away on April 19, 2018.
Glenda had two careers, After many years at AT&T, she then worked at KMI Medical Center which later was known as Ten Broeck Hospital.
Glenda was born on February 11, 1930 in Rosewood, Kentucky to the late Bailey and Annie Harrison. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Merle Gayhart; siblings, Gartine Harrison, Bernice Klingel, Bailey "Bob" Harrison, Jr., Bonnie Gayhart, Carlton "Jack" Harrison, Nancy Landis, Bryan "Bill" Harrison and Betty Wheeler.
Glenda is survived by her two daughters, Donna Flickner (George) and Cheryl Schloss (Tom); grandchildren, Jordan Flickner (Brittany), Christopher Schloss (Melissa) and Kaitlyn Smiley (Brandon).
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Harrods Creek Cemetery in Crestwood, KY.
