Gladys "Ata" Pérez, 81, de Louisville, Kentucky falleció el 11 de agosto de 2017.
Gladys nació el 18 de octubre de 1935 en Santa Isabel de Las Lajas, Cienfuegos, Cuba, sobrevivio a sus padres Evaristo Pérez Heredia y Silvia Sosa Sosa. También fue precedida en muerte por su hija, Arelis Martínez Pérez, su esposo Sergio José Martínez y su hermano Adolfo Pérez.
Gladys le sobreviven su hija María Teresa Martínez Pérez, su hijo José Antonio Martínez Pérez y su hija Gipsy Martínez Pérez, sus nietas; Yaumara Del Sol, Yamibis Martínez, Roxana Martínez, y sus nietos Isaac Yordan Cruz, Aldo Y Del Sol, Richard Carr, Ryan Carr y José Alejandro Martínez. También le sobreviven sus hermanas Ana Luisa Pérez e Irma Digna Pérez y sus cinco bisnietos Talia Álvarez, Jacob Cruz, Elijah Cruz, Kevin Díaz y Keilyn Díaz.
La visita será desde las 10:00 am hasta el momento del funeral a las 4:00 pm el miércoles 16 de agosto de 2017 en la Funeraria Newcomer (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243).

Gladys was born on October 18, 1935 in Santa Isabel de Las Lajas, Cienfuegos, Cuba, to the late Evaristo Perez Heredia and Silvia Sosa Sosa. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Arelis Martinez Perez, her husband Sergio Jose Martinez and brother Adolfo Perez.
Gladys is survived by her daughter Maria Teresa Martinez Perez, son Jose Antonio Martinez Perez and daughter Gipsy Martinez Perez, granddaughters; Yaumara Del Sol, Yamibis Martinez, Roxana Martinez, grandsons Isaac Yordan Cruz, Aldo Y Del Sol, Richard Carr, Ryan Carr and Jose Alejandro Martinez. She is also survived by her sisters Ana Luisa Perez and Irma Digna Perez and five great-grandchildren Talia Alvarez, Jacob Cruz, Elijah Cruz, Kevin Diaz, Keilyn Diaz.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral ceremony at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243).
