Tobin, Gladys Marie, passed away on February 26, 2015.
Gladys was born on September 12, 1937 in Metcalf County, to the late Leon & Isabelle Jones. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Jewell Sanders, Robert Jones, Florine Shobe, Beatrice Taylor, and Mack Jones.
Gladys was the fourth child of Leon and Isabelle Jones. She was a very caring personand never met a stranger. Gladys was a loyal and faithful memeber of Corinthian Baptist Church. She worked for Phillip Morris for 35 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dale W. Tobin; children, Beverly Warren, Russell Carter (Sandra), Joey Carter, Danny Carter, Paul Carter (Patricia), and Randall Carter; three step-children; Dale and James Fisher and Deborah Tobin; sister, Mary Hibbit; five grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 2p.m. - 5p.m. at Corinthian Baptist Church (1916 West Jefferson Street, Louisville, KY 40203). A funeral service to honor the life of Gladys will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at church, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
