Gladys M. Logsdon, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Gladys graduated New Albany High School.
Gladys shared Ed passion for the Boy Scouts and was also involved with the Girl Scouts with her children and then her grandchildren for over 30 years. Crafts were always her favorite things to teach the children. She began a second career at H&R Block where she worked until 2018 when health started declining.
Gladys enjoyed going to the casinos and playing the penny slots. She and her lady friends ofter took our buses to the Casinos. She and Ed traveled many places and went on several cruises. She also enjoyed going to Derby Dinner Playhouse. They held season passes for over 30 years.
Ed and Gladys were soulmates and are together forever. She followed Ed just 4 days after he passed on August 22nd.
She was born on January 27, 1941 in New Albany, Indiana to Wilbert and Edna (Heishman) Brown. She is preceded in death by her Father, Wilbert Lee Brown, Mother, Edna Brown, loving husband of 50 years, Edward L Logsdon, Children, Michael Huber, Jackie Huber, Michele Logsdon, Richard Carter, Grandson, Jason Logsdon, Sister, Anna Kruer.
Gladys is survived by her loving family, Grandchildren, Connie, Brandie, and William; 12 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Charles Brown; Special Friends Becky Donohue and Sherie Garland, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky on Monday September 8th, 2025 at 12:30pm.
A gathering meal will be immediately following the service on Saturday.
